Situated on The Boardwalk in beautiful Port Solent, Portsmouth, our restaurant has become a destination for locals and visitors alike who crave the freshest seafood, the finest cuts of steak and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. 

Our Story

Founded and led by owner Scott Matthews,in 2009 the uk’s youngest Restaurant owner opened Relentless began with a simple belief: that great food should start with the best possible ingredients and be cooked with heart. Scott’s vision has always been to offer something truly different — a place where people can enjoy premium steak and seafood without the London price tags, where family-run values meet restaurant excellence. 

What sets us apart is our commitment to quality from sea to plate. We are one of the few restaurants in the UK to operate our own fleet of fishing boats, meaning much of our seafood — from plump lobsters to fresh fish — comes straight from waters we know and trust. It’s seafood that’s caught with care, brought in daily, and served with pride.

Looking ahead to early 2026, we’re expanding our commitment to exceptional produce with the launch of our own farm— a place where we’ll grow and raise bespoke produce exclusively for Relentless. This farm-to-table vision will allow us to further control quality, sustainability and flavour — bringing even more freshness and authenticity to every dish we serve.
